The 17th annual Maple Syrup Stampede took place on Saturday, February 7 on the cross country ski trails in Jocelyn Township on St. Joseph Island. Fresh overnight snowfall and temperatures in the minus 10 range were experienced by classic and skate skiers. As usual, a great pasta lunch was enjoyed by skiers, families, friends and volunteers at the Jocelyn Township Hall after the races.
