The Soo and area has been hit with some early lake effect snow. Enough snow has fallen to enable Hiawatha Highlands staff to carry out some trail grooming. Ski conditions on the 2km Kinsmen Loop were excellent Friday morning for both classic and skating technique. The weather forecast for the next several days calls for bellow freezing temperatures so it expected that good skiing conditions will continue.
