The Maple Syrup Stampede loppet was a very well organized event with plenty of friendly and helpfull volunteers. The race took place under beautiful sunny skies with a tempurature around -10 Celcius. The mostly flat 20 km course was very well groomed and marked. The course covered established cross country trails as well as snowmobile club’s trails.
The best part of the entire event was the lunch provided after the loppet. The homemade desserts alone were worth the entry fee.
