What a day! Sunny skies, a beautiful 22°C, and leaves just beginning to turn made for perfect conditions for the 2026 Trail Trot. Runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators all enjoyed a fantastic day at Kinsmen Park.
This year, 177 participants took part across the four distances offered: 1 km, 2 km, 2.7 km, and 5 km. It was especially great to see so many of our Jackrabbits, high school cross-country team members, a soccer team, and local running clubs out enjoying the trails. Thank you for coming and supporting the event.
A huge thank you goes to our many volunteers. The Trail Trot simply could not happen without you! From course setup and registration to timing, first aid, trail sweeps, candy sales, and everything in between, it truly takes a community to put on an event like this.
This fundraiser helps support our youth programs, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated their time and energy to make the day a success. A special thank you to the Tchir family for leading the organization of this year’s event.
