Time to dig out those race suits, Wednesday night races are back!!! To kick off the race season, we’re heading backwards on the 2k!
Wednesday, January 17 (this week!!)
Registration 6:00-6:45pm in Kinsmen Centre
Racing starts at 7pm
Free to all 2023-2024 Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club members (adults that means you too!!).
Mass start CLASSIC race on the Kinsmen Lighted 2 km trail IN REVERSE!
Distances 2k/4k/8k – choose your distance.
Suggestions for youth skiers:
U16 and above – 8 km (4 loops)
U14 – 4 km (2 loops)
U12 and younger – 2 km
For youth skiers looking to participate in Youth Champs, this is great practice. For those not sure about racing, this is a fun opportunity to get to ski this trail in the opposite way.
We will be recording and reporting the finish order, but we will not be timing this event (wear your watch if this is important to you).
