2025 Ski Swap
Get ready for the annual Cross Country Ski Swap – a community event that promotes the sport of cross country skiing to residents of Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area. Whether you’re looking to sell, donate, or find some great gear for the upcoming season, this is the event for you. Proceeds support the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Youth Programs.
Equipment Intake and Drop-Off
When: Friday, November 7, 5:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Algoma University; George Leach Centre (GLC)
Notes:
- Equipment intake is for both sale items and donation items.
- The Ski Swap is a fundraiser for Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Youth Programs, items are sold at a 20% consignment. Don’t worry if you need help pricing things, we’ve got some seasoned pros who will be more than available to help!
- Any equipment you are bringing to sell or donate, must be clean and in saleable condition.
- If you are looking to expedite your equipment drop-off on Friday, come with the equipment intake form printed and filled out. If you do not have a form with you at drop off, we will provide one that will need to be filled out for swap items (does not need to be filled out for donation items).
- Any items that are UNSOLD, must be picked up between 1:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday November 8th (post-sale), or will otherwise be considered donations. This is when the consignment pay-out will happen as well.
SALE SALE SALE
When: Saturday, November 8, 9:00am-12:00pm
Where: Algoma University; George Leach Centre (GLC)
Notes:
- Doors will be open at 9:00am. If you arrive early, you are welcome to line up, but the sale will not begin until 9:00am
- We are looking forward to having a bake sale table at the event! If you desire to donate any baked items, please bring them during equipment drop off on Friday November 8th from 5:00-8:00pm! Otherwise, bring some money to purchase some treats!
- Check-Out: We are excited to be offering individuals to pay for items via cash, cheque, e-transfers, and debit. (NO credit transactions!)
- Final shoppers will be allowed into the space at noon. This allows us time to prepare for consignors to pick up their unsold items and receive pay-out for the items sold (happening from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, November 8).
