After five days with temperatures above freezing and more than 20 mm of rain, the ski trails were in rough shape. The return to lower temperatures and recent snowfall made it possible for Hiawatha Highlands staff to get the trail grooming equipment out and bring the trails back to good skiing conditions. Conditions on Thursday morning were great for classic and skating. The extended weather forecast looks good with below freezing temperatures and sunny skies.
