- Participants must be members of Biathlon Ontario/Canada (Biathlon Canada Online Registration)
- Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Family Membership is required for participation
- Dryland Target Practice – Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Participants MUST also be registered in a Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club ski program (Jackrabbits, Track Attack, Racing Rabbits or Junior Ski Team)
Fee includes:
- Hiawatha Highlands trail passes for children 12 and under
- a ticket for the participant to the end of year club awards banquet
- all sessions for the season
- coaching by coaches trained in the Sport Specific NCCP (Biathlon Canada)

Biathlon Bears Program (Skills Development) – Ages 10– 14
The Biathlon Bears is a shooting program designed as an entry level into the sport of biathlon. Participants will learn the parts of the air rifle, safety requirements of the air rifle and on the shooting range, how to shoot and the format for racing. Fun and learning will be incorporated into lessons and drills to develop shooting skills. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in biathlon events in the Algoma area if they elect to do so. Air rifles are provided by the club. Biathlon Bear participants MUST also be registered in a Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club ski program (Jackrabbits, Track Attack, Racing Rabbits or Junior Ski Team).
