Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Board of Directors passed a motion at their October 2nd, 2024 Board meeting opposing the Hydro One route segment 3A which passes through the Hiawatha Highlands. Following that motion, a letter from the board was sent to Hydro One (both by email and by Canada Post) showing them exactly where their proposed route would cross trails in the Hiawatha Highlands.
We encourage anyone who uses these trails, at any time of the year, to send a letter to Hydro One and help to preserve our trails. Now is the time for us to speak up, before they make their decision on the route in the spring of 2025.
