The Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club (SFN) has completed most actions in its 2023-2025 Strategic Plan. It’s now time to determine our strategy for the next 5 years (2027-2032).
The SFN’s Vision is to be “a signature winter sporting destination rooted in excellence and grounded in community.” Our Mission is to “to cultivate lifelong health, connection and growth for all through exceptional programming and trails elevated by nature.”
SFN promotes enjoyment of outdoor winter adventure activities, including learn-to-ski programs and athlete development, and manages the winter operations (Hiawatha Highlands) required to deliver this programming. Almost annually, we bring at least one large race event (ie: Ontario Cup, National Masters Cup) to Sault Ste. Marie, which supports tourism in our community.
