Thank you to everyone who attended the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on another successful season, celebrate the accomplishments of our athletes, volunteers, coaches, staff, and committees, and discuss the future direction of the Club and the Hiawatha Highlands business.
Members approved maintaining Club membership fees at the same rates as the 2025-2026 season: $35 for individual memberships and $100 for family memberships.

Following the Annual General Meeting, the first board meeting occurred on June 17 at which time the Club’s executive committee was assigned. Thank you to Jamie Hilsinger for accepting the position of Chair, Cassandra Nielsen for Vice-Chair, Temeara Barrett as Secretary, and Bradley Cutler as Treasurer.
As we look ahead, one of the Club’s key priorities will be developing a new strategic plan to help guide our future direction and ensure we continue to meet the needs of our community.
