The Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club is celebrating 60 years of Nordic ski racing in Sault Ste. Marie by hosting HIAWATHA SNOWFEST, Jan. 23/24, 2016. The events will take place at Hiawatha Highlands in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Saturday January 23rd
- Interval Start Ski Races – Classic and Skate – for all age levels and abilities
- Soo Finnish Ski Museum and Café in Old Lodge (Bible Fellowship)
- Scrabble Fun Snow Event (for skis, fat bikes and snowshoes)
- Fat Bike Event
- Beer Tent and Sausage BBQ
- Evening Pasta Dinner Banquet with Awards for Events
Sunday January 24 at the Sugar Shack
- Ski and Fat Bike Loppet – various distances for all age levels and abilities
- Finnish Pancake Breakfast
Open to the Public – All Ages Welcome
