North Bay hosted the Ontario Special Olympics Winter Games on the weekend of January 30/31. It was a frigid few days of skiing hosted by North Bay Nordic. Local skiers competed in the events and had good results.
- Rachelle Barbeau :1st 7.5k, 5k. 2nd 2.5k
- Rob Lewis 1st 10 k, 7.5k, 5k
- Jared Macmichael 1st 7.5k, 2nd 5K, 3rd 2.5k
The team skied together in the mixed relay to win silver. Thanks to Soo Finnish Nordic for all of the support.
