Passport to Ski the North

2025-2026 Season Perks for Club members

Your Club membership comes with perks!

Being a 2025-2026 member of Soo Finnish also means you are a member of Nordiq Canada, Cross-Country Ski Ontario, and the Northern Ontario District (NOD). The NOD district comprises clubs from Hearst to Wawa to North Bay and points in-between. This year, NOD is excited to pilot an interclub opportunity called the NOD Passport to Ski the North and is geared primarily to our recreational skiers. The passport provides each member a one-time-half-price day use fee to each of the 17 participating clubs.

How does the Passport work?

Before you would like to ski at one of the 17 clubs listed below, complete the Passport to the Ski the North form, which asks for your name, email address used during your membership application, your Club, and your Nordiq Canada number (this is the receipt number you were emailed when you completed your annual registration through Zone4 – the number is in the subject line of the receipt).  In addition, the form asks you to indicate where you are planning to ski (which Club/trail network), and the date of your adventure.  Once you submit the form, the host club will receive notification that you are planning to visit. If you ski for any additional days during the season at the same club, you will be subject to paying the full day pass rate. This reduction cannot be combined with any other promotion/discount.

Some additional good ideas:

  • Make a copy of the completed form. You may be asked to show the form by the chalet attendant. Paper copies are to be deposited in the trail box along with the fee at clubs without a staffed chalet.

  • Bring proof of membership from your home club (badge, trail pass, or Nordiq Canada membership receipt).
