SFNSC Skiers Compete in Michigan Races

It was a busy weekend for Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club Members. On Saturday, March 1, Marg Meincke participated in the Black Mountain Classic near Cheboygan, Michigan. Marg placed 3rd overall in the women’s category with a time of 2:29:02 in the 34km race.
Adam Kates and several member of the Soo Finnish Ski Team drove to Gaylord, Michigan on Sunday and competed in the 12 km Hanson Hills Classic. Adam came first in the race with a time of 27:27.
