Dryland Training 2026

General Info:

  • All practice times, training camps, events, and updates will be posted on TeamSnap

  • Dryland sessions are structured SFN practices and/or group activities led by safe-sport certified and trained coaches

  • Practices and events are subject to changes based on environmental conditions and/or coaches discretion, with athletes’ best interests in mind

  • “Mini Camps” will offer additional skill sessions for Racing Rabbits 2 and Juniors

  • Opportunities for integration with different age/training groups, targeting athlete retention and a greater sense for the larger ski community

  • Dryland helps ensures athletes are prepared for the winter season with a balanced mix of skill-building and conditioning activities year-round

Weekly Schedule: Start Date –  June 30th

Junior Dryland (Jr + RR2):

  • Tuesdays – On-foot (ski walking, running, etc)

  • Thursdays – Intro roller ski group

  • “Mini Camps” – Once per month, to be announced in the first two weeks of programming.

  • Year-round fee for Juniors is $800, Racing Rabbits 2 is $550.

Senior Dryland:

  • Tuesdays – On-foot training (ski walking, running, etc)

  • Wednesdays – Strength Training

  • Thursdays – Roller skiing

  • Saturdays – Senior+ roller ski session (every second week)

  • Year round fee for Seniors is $1000, Senior+ is $1150, plus HST.

Required Equipment:

  • Ski-walking poles (old ski poles or hiking poles)

  • Trail shoes

  • Belt/bag to carry water and snacks

  • Skate roller skis, skate boots, and poles with roller ski tips (if roller skiing)

  • Helmet and high-visibility shirt (if roller skiing)

  • A family SFNSC membership is required, $100 + HST.

  • Year-round fees include summer, fall, and winter programming.

  • Ski team families have an EMT option for their programming fees to reduce credit card processing fees.  More information here.
