NOD is inviting ski clubs to participate in getting active at a new Event Series. There will be two weekend events run that will be counted toward the NOD Ski Event Series.
Event #1
January 18 or 19, 2014. This can be at your club or a club in your area. Sophie Manarin Loppet, Laurentian Nordic Sudbury, January 19, Hiawatha Invitational, Sault Ste. Marie, January 18.
Club members are encouraged to participate in each event. The club with the most members participating at each event (percentage of total # of members) will be awarded a classic or skate roller ski. The last pair of roller skis will be presented at the Porcupine Ski Club loppet event to the club with the largest percentage of members participating at the event.
The 58th Annual Hiawatha Invitational, will take place Saturday, January 18. All people wishing to participate in this time trial must register on-line through Zone4. First racer out will be at 11:00 AM. This will be a classic time trial event, with the start and finish located near the blue Soo Finnish Nordic clubhouse adjacent to the tennis courts.

March 8, 2014- Porcupine Ski Club, Timmins short distances 2 and 5km
March 9 – Porcupine Ski Club, Timmins long distance races 10,23 46 km
