Soo Finnish Nordic skier Rachelle Barbeau competed at the Canada Winter Games held in Corner Brook, Newfoundland from March 1 to March 5. Rachelle picked up a bronze medal for her 5km classic race.
Rachelle faced some challenging conditions for the 7.5 km race. It was cold with high gusting winds and intermittent snowfall. The track was very icy after rain from the previous day.
